Fischer resigns from Marshfield Common Council

MARSHFIELD — Alderman Adam Fischer is vacating the Common Council seat he has held for three years.

The District 7 representative has submitted his resignation, effective December 31.
Fischer was appointed by the Common Council on Oct. 21, 2019, filling the seat vacated by Jason Zaleski. Fischer was then elected in April 2020 to a two-year term, and reelected this past April. His current term expires in April of 2024.
Discussion will take place at the next council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 concerning this vacancy, according to a city of Marshfield news release.
