Rozar reelected

MARSHFIELD – By a nearly two-to-one margin, Donna Rozar has won a second term in the state Assembly.
The Republican incumbent on Tuesday, Nov. 8 defeated Democrat Lisa Boero 14,935-8,334.
Rozar’s margin of victory was similar to 2020, when she defeated Democrat Brian Giles 18,567-9,603, to win the seat vacated by then-incumbent Bob Kulp.
Rozar carried three of four counties in which the 69th Assembly District falls. She won the Wood County vote 4,415-3,163. Her Clark County victory was 4,749-1,862. Rozar also defeated Boero in Marathon County 4,433-1,884. Boero did win the majority of the Jackson County vote, 1,425-1,338.
Rozar also won the city of Marshfield, 3,118-2,643.
The 69th Assembly District covers portions of Wood, Clark, Marathon and Jackson counties, including most of the city of Marshfield, the villages of Spencer, Stratford, and Granton, and the cities of Colby, Abbotsford, Loyal, Neillsville and Owen.
