Wood County drug bust

PORT EDWARDS — Four known Wood County drug dealers are off the streets, following their arrests.
Police departments from Port Edwards, Nekoosa and Grand Rapids joined the Wood County Sheriff’s Department Sept. 2 in executing a search at a residence in the village of Port Edwards.
According to a Wood County Sheriff’s Department news release, four individuals with lengthy criminal histories were taken into custody. They are Jeffrey Manley Jr., Kaitlyn McGuffey, Joshua Pillsbury and Samantha Krebs. The release says the four are well known to law enforcement for the sale and distribution of controlled substances.
During the search, large quantities of controlled substances were seized, including suspected methamphetamines, fentanyl and marijuana. Charges have been forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s office, including Maintaining a Drug-Trafficking Residence, Possession of Methamphetamines with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Fentanyl, THC, Cocaine and Medication Without a Prescription, along with multiple felony counts of Bail-Jumping and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
