MARSHFIELD — Sheri Dick has accepted the new role of Chief Operating Officer at Forward Bank, and will provide leadership and oversight to multiple bank operations teams.

In assuming this newly-created role at the bank, Dick will collaborate with a team of established and experienced department directors to maintain the alignment of their goals with the strategic plan for Forward. By bringing the Compliance, Deposit Operations, Digital Banking, Facilities, Human Resources, Information Technology, Loan Operations, and Project Management teams under one leader, communication will be streamlined and efficiencies gained.

“I’ve really enjoyed the last 9 months of learning about the aspects of delivering financial services that most customers never see,” commented Dick. “I’m excited to use my leadership and strategic planning experience to compliment the amazing skills of the operational teams that make Forward successful. The future will be bright as we collaborate to bring new solutions for each other and our customers.”

Dick has her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She has been continually active in the Marshfield community while working at Figi’s, the Marshfield Clinic Foundation, and as the AVP/Digital Banking Director at Forward. Her community activities include serving on the YMCA Board of Directors and the Columbus Catholic School Education Commission, as well as a MACCI ambassador and a member of the Marshfield Rotary Club.

“Sheri brought a new perspective to how digital banking operated at Forward and has excelled at understanding the roles that each of our leaders play in making Forward successful,” said Dave Clark, President of Forward Bank. “We quickly were able to see that her experience would benefit more in our organization, and her style of leading would allow the experts already in place to continue to perform at the highest level. Culture is extremely important to everyone at Forward, and Sheri will help us continue as one of the best banks to work for.”

Forward Bank currently has offices in Marshfield, Colby, Dorchester, Athens, Greenwood, Medford, Withee, Thorp, Stanley, Phillips and Park Falls.
