City to begin work on East McMillan and North Peach intersection

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield will begin replacing pavement at the intersection of East McMillan Street and North Peach Avenue on May 9, 2022 at 6:30 a.m.
“The work zone will only affect west bound traffic as is will be closed to through traffic from Waushara Dr. to N. Central. There will be access to the furthest E. driveway going into the Walmart parking lot. All east bound traffic on McMillan will remain as normal,” a city release stated.
“The work performed will be concrete panel, curb, and repair of traffic light wiring. Duration of the project, weather dependent, will take around two days to complete however it will remain closed until the new concrete has had adequate cure time. During this time there will be a detour routing west bound traffic. The detour route will be Waushara Dr., to N. Peach to E. Upham to N. Central. From Central and McMillan intersection you may then continue west on McMillan or north on Central as normal.”
