City to begin work on West 14th Street
For the Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD – Road work on West 14th Street, from South Oak Avenue to South Locust Avenue, will create a temporary lane closure, May 2-11.
The Marshfield Street Division will be removing the road surface to inspect for any needed repairs underneath the road surface. Base repairs will be performed if needed.
“There will not be a detour at this time, but some minor delays could be expected. During this process there will be only one lane available for motorists, so please beware of possible delays making a left turn onto S. Oak Ave. The final surface prep and the asphalt paving process will require the street to be closed until asphalt is cool enough to drive on. Paving of the surface is scheduled for May 9 and 10, 2022,” a city release stated.
“This schedule will change if unfavorable weather conditions or other unforeseen issues arise.”
