MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Broadcasting, a division of the city of Marshfield Communications Department, will host a candidate forum for those competing for the mayoral seat on the Feb. 15 primary election ballot.

The forum will be held Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m., at the 2nd Street Community Center, 211 E. Second St., Marshfield.

The event will be open to the public with plenty of seating and will be carried live on MFLD-TV cable channel No. 989, streaming on MFLD-TV.com website, and on devices that have Roku, Apple-TV and Amazon capabilities by downloading the App Marshfield Broadcasting.

The forum will be replayed on cable television and will be available on-demand via the MFLD-TV media platforms.

Order of speaking shall be determined by drawing lots.

Each candidate will have two minutes for an opening statement. Questions will follow; each candidate will have three minutes to respond to each question in rotating order. An audience question session will follow the prepared questions. Each candidate will then have two minutes for a closing statement.

Three candidates have filed valid nomination forms with the city: Ken Bargender, Bob McManus, and Lois TeStrake.
