Two injured in Wood County accident

WOOD COUNTY – Two people were injured Dec. 17, in a town of Seneca accident.
“On Dec. 17, at approximately 2:28 p.m., the Wood County Communications Center received a call of a one-vehicle traffic accident with an individual ejected from the vehicle,” a Wood County Sheriff’s release stated.
“Initial investigation of the accident by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department determined the vehicle was east bound on STH 73 and left the right side of the roadway where it overturned and ejected the driver before coming to rest.
“The driver was transported from scene by Life Link Ill and the one passenger in the vehicle was transported from the scene by United Ambulance.”
The driver and passenger in the vehicle were identified as Walter D. Bonini, 55, and Kathaleen M. Stone, 55.
Wood County Rescue and Vesper Fire Department also assisted on scene.
