MARSHFIELD – More than 200 local artists contributed to a collage on display at the Chestnut Center Gallery. The Community Canvas Collage project was inspired by the Hardy Gallery Tiny Canvas Mosaic Exhibit and sale in Door County.

Throughout the months of August and September, 6-inch-by-6-inch canvases were distributed to professional artists, high school and junior high art students, pre-school and elementary students from the YMCA youth program, adults at the senior center, residents and staff at the Aster building, assorted family and friends and volunteers and staff at the Chestnut Center. The result is a 10-foot-by-six-foot collaboration brining the arts to all ages and ability levels in the Marshfield area.

The community is invited to view the collage. Individual art pieces are for sale. For more information, visit chestnutarts.org.
