SPENCER – To begin its 25th anniversary performance season and honor the artist/donors of its new permanent collection, the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts will host a reception on Sept. 10, 5-7 p.m.

“Visitors will be able to greet some of the talented individuals who contributed to the collection, peruse their creations in a variety of mediums and enjoy light refreshments. The event is open to the public and free of charge,” a Tack Center release stated.

“This permanent collection features the artwork of: Elizabeth Sallee Bauer (photography), Cheryl WiedenbeckDietmeyer (macro-photography), Carmen Duran (acrylics), the late Judith Pentz (fabric), Mary Lee Reineking (multi-media), Kathleen Rulka (ceramics) and William Wiedenbeck (photography).

“The works will be displayed whenever the gallery walls would otherwise be empty.”

A Community Enhancement Grant from the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin was instrumental in updating the gallery space where the collection is housed.
