MARSHFIELD – On Aug. 20, Amy Krogman celebrated 30 years with the city of Marshfield.
Krogman came to the city with an associates degree in secretarial science – now referred to as administrative professional – from Chippewa Valley Technical College.
“I started on August 21, 1991, as the secretary to the mayor. At that time I worked .7 FTE,” recalled Krogman.
In 2010, Krogman came on full time, with the retirement of the secretary to the city administrator and the two jobs became one.
“In 2016, my title was changed to administrative specialist/HR assistant after additional duties were added to my job description,” she added.
During her tenure, Krogman has worked under nine mayors.
Krogman says that she enjoys her position with the city, due to the variety of work she performs.
“No day is ever the same,” she said.
