City to start work on Eighth Street, Cedar Avenue

MARSHFIELD – On Aug. 23, Gerke Excavating Inc. will begin two sanitary sewer replacement projects on East Eighth Street, between Central Avenue and Cedar Avenue, and on Cedar Avenue, between Eighth Street and Sixth Street.
Following Gerke Excavating’s sanitary sewer work, the city of Marshfield will complete restoration and street paving.
The expected duration of these closures will be approximately four to six weeks per street. Detours will not be posted for these closures.
