MARSHFIELD—Marshfield Area United Way’s annual “Supplies 4 Success” Backpack and School Supply Drive will be collecting school supplies for area children until Aug. 8.

Last year, the backpack and school supply drive helped 610 children from Marshfield, Auburndale, Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Pittsville, Spencer, and Stratford school districts. You can help children in our area begin the next school year ready to learn by donating backpacks and/or school supplies and dropping them off at any of the following locations: Absolute Health Chiropractic, Associated Bank & Associated Bank at Festival Foods, BMO Harris Bank, Century 21 Realty, Citizens State Bank of Loyal (Marshfield, Spencer & Loyal), Christ Lutheran Church, Corner Stone Community Church, First Choice Credit Union, Forward Bank (Marshfield & Greenwood), Good Shepherd Church, Hawkins Ash CPAs, I-State Trucking, MACCI, NextHome Hub City, Partners Bank (Marshfield, Spencer & Stratford), Prevail Bank, and Simplicity Credit Union.

Donations can also be dropped off at the United Way office, 612 W Blodgett St., Marshfield, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

More information about the backpack and school supply drive and a list of school supplies needed for donation is available for download at the Marshfield Area United Way website at marshfieldareaunitedway.org.

“If your business or organization will be holding a school supply drive within your company and would like the donated supplies picked up, please call United Way at 715-384-9992 to schedule a pick-up, if you have not done so already,” a United Way release added.
