Marshfield Area Youth Football opens fall programs

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Area Youth Football offers programs for grades 1-6 in football to area youth, as well as cheer for grades 5-6.

Marshfield Area Youth Football has seen over 3000 players and 500 cheerleader participants over its years of operation. The program is part of an area league, which includes the communities of Auburndale, Medford, Necedah, Pittsville, Stratford, and Wisconsin Rapids.

Marshfield Area Youth Football offers flag football for grades 1-4; tackle for grades five and six; as well as cheer for grades 3-6.

Grades 1-2 begin practice on Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m., with the first game on Sept. 14.

Grades 3-4 begin practice on Aug. 24 at 5:30 p.m., with the first game on Sept. 9.

Cheer, for grades 5-6, begin practice on Aug. 23 at 5:30 p.m. and the first game is Sept. 11.
