Second phase of West McMillan overlay project to begin

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield will start the second phase of the overlay project on West McMillan Street the week of June 21, from Fig Avenue to Central Avenue.
The work performed will include concrete panel, curb, and storm structure repairs in preparation of an asphalt overlay.
“Duration of the project, weather dependent, will take approximately five weeks to complete. During this process W. McMillan St. will be closed to all through traffic. Please be aware of the detour and follow the signage. The detour route for W. McMillan will be south on Central Ave. to W. Upham and West on W. Upham to St. Josephs Ave.,” a city release stated.
“There will only be one-way, east bound traffic for the duration of phase two. Residents living within the road work area will have access to driveways Via Fig Ave.
“The first phase of the asphalt overlay project currently being done is planned to be finished at the end of the June or early July.”
