Mosinee man charged in connection with Ayon disappearance

CLARK COUNTY – A 41-year-old Mosinee man will be charged in connection with the disappearance of a Clark County woman.
Cassandra Ayon was last seen Oct. 3 in Unity.
Jesus Contreras Perez was charged in May with stalking the 27-year-old Ayon before she went missing. Court documents say that Perez allegedly stalked the woman July 5-Oct. 2, one day before she went missing.
Court documents also indicate that Ayon had two children with Perez. Ayon and her vehicle have not been located.
Perez is now being charged in Clark County with intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.
Perez is currently in Clark County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
