Man faces multiple drug-related charges following Marshfield traffic stop

MARSHFIELD – A 37-year-old Marshfield man is facing several drug-related charges after a Feb. 19 traffic stop on the 500 block of East Ives Street by the Marshfield Police Department.
An alert by K-9 Rika led to a search of the vehicle.
According to officers, the search revealed 23.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 155.5 grams of suspected marijuana, 5 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, several schedule No. 4 prescription pills, suspected THC wax, a 9mm handgun with loaded magazines, and a variety of drug paraphernalia items.
The man will face charges of possession with intent to deliver THC, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver psilocybin, possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The man was taken to the Wood County Jail.
