Marshfield honors district AP Scholars

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield School District’s annual AP Scholars award ceremony was held virtually on Jan. 6.

During the ceremony, two students were presented with the Graham Olson Scholar award. The award is presented to one male and one female student who best demonstrated: motivation, determination and commitment to the rigor of course expectations; diligence shown by completing work on time in appropriate format and being consistently prepared for class; perception, which is shown by synthesizing, analyzing and evaluating in discussion and writing; willingness-was willing to take risks by positively approaching a variety of learning methods; competence through application of a variety of learning methods; integrity and self-discipline; willingness to hear constructive criticism; and courage and perseverance by overcoming obstacles.

The award was presented to 2020 graduates, Nina Hashimoto and Eben Lonsdale.

AP Scholar Awards were granted to students who received scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
