MARSHFIELD – Marshfield’s Donna Rozar is the newest member of the state legislature. The Republican defeated Democrat Brian Giles, of Marshfield, on Nov. 3 to win the 69th Assembly seat vacated by incumbent Bob Kulp, of Stratford.

Rozar stated that she was excited and thankful to have earned the seat and attributed the win to hard work.

“I worked hard,” she said. “I am an industrious person and so I was willing to work hard to let people know how interested I was.

“Also, I think my unique work-life experience showed people that I am qualified to represent them and those experiences that I have had over the years will serve them well.

Rozar defeated Giles 18,567 to 9,603.
