For the Hub City Times

MARSHFIELD – On Oct. 31, West Fifth Street from Oak Avenue to Schmidt Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic, 4-7 p.m., for trick-or-treat activities.

The following streets will also be closed to motorists at the Fifth Street intersections of Hardacre Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue, Adams Avenue, Drake Avenue, and Columbus Avenue.

Due to the number of children who take part in the trick-or-treating event, the city anticipates that side streets will be difficult to park a vehicle, so parking at SJ Miller Park is recommended. No parking of vehicles will be allowed on Fifth Street within the road closure.
