MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Area Chamber Foundation will kick off its 29th Leadership Marshfield year, with a two-day retreat on Sept. 15-16 at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center in Marshfield.

Organizers say that changes have been made to the monthly programs to ensure safety is “top of mind” and that participants have a beneficial experience.

The months following the retreat will focus on: community engagement, public safety, education, local government, health care, and business & economic development.

New Leadership Marshfield class members: Renee Barlow, Simplicity Credit Union; Jacob Baumgartner, Dental Clinic of Marshfield; Becky Cera, Forward Bank; Carlos Escudero, Opportunity Development Centers, Inc.; Dustin Follen, Nasonville Dairy; Stephanie Gregurich, Felker Brothers Mfg.; Ben Hertel, Prevail Bank; Angela Loucks, Columbus Catholic Schools; Kayla Marx, Mashfield Insurance Agency; Adam Nooker, Roehl Transport; Jill Porter, Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library; and Austin Travis, Forward Bank.

The program is designed to “develop current and potential leaders in the community and to provide a training program that will enhance their ability to become more effective business and community leaders through this professional and personal training.”

A kick-off breakfast will be held Sept. 15, at 7:30 a.m., at the Holiday Inn. Graduation is scheduled for April 15, 2021.
