MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Clinic’s Security Health Plan is offering health insurance rebates to many of its customers who are struggling financially amidst COVID-19. CEO Julie Brussow says Security is issuing premium rebates to its fully-insured employer clients and waiving cost-sharing for individual consumer clients.

Brussow says the rebates amount to approximately $8 million in financial relief for Security Health Plan’s employer and consumer customers.

From the employer’s perspective, Brussow says the rebate will be delivered in the form of a rebate check. For individual customers, the savings will be rolled through cost-sharing measures in their respective insurance plans.

Security Health will be waiving cost-sharing for Medicare Advantage and Affordable Care Act individual and family plan office visits.
