Lawrence J. Winzenried, age 79 years, of rural Hillsboro, Wisconsin and formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Wm. S. Middleton Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Madison.

He was born on May 3, 1941 to Lawrence and Linda (Sonentag) Winzenried in Marathon County, Wisconsin.  He graduated from Columbus High School in Marshfield and later from Marquette University.

Larry had lived in Milwaukee for over 50 years and was a brewery worker for Pabst in Milwaukee for 37 years.

Larry married Deborah Coonrod and they had 34 years together.

They formed a new business, Tax Managers in 1986.

Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed the Wisconsin Badgers and his furry friends, Slipper and Dakota.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah; children, Eric (Kristen) Winzenried, Heidi Winzenried, Rebecca Osborne and Matthew Osborne; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Megan, Alexis, Dominick, Lilianna, Hunter and Max; and four great grandchildren, Braylon, Briar, Aria and Alaina.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; three brothers, Mark, Roy and Francis and two sisters, Odelia and Susan.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at the LaFarge Free Methodist Church in La Farge, with Pastor Mark Phillips officiating.  Interment will be in Edgar, Wisconsin at a later date.
