MARSHFIELD – A task force will be implemented to discuss possible safety measures for the city of Marshfield.
During an update on the city’s COVID-19 response, Administrator Steve Barg told the common council on July 28 that he’s commissioned a group of people that will start meeting to make recommendations.
Alderman Ken Bargender read a letter from the Pittsley family, expressing their stance against any city-wide mask mandate.
Barg said city department and division heads meet every Wednesday morning, and their first order of business each week is COVID-related.
Barg also noted the city is looking into possible federal reimbursement for COVID-related costs.
The city reopened its facilities and services on June 1.
