Columbus Catholic celebrates their 2020 graduates

MARSHFIELD – A graduation ceremony was held July 18, at Columbia Park in Marshfield, to celebrate the Columbus Catholic High School Class of 2020.
During the ceremony, three awards were presented. The Anchor Award, awarded to a student “who provides a stable base for the school,” was presented to Emily Nemitz. The Columbus Medal for Leadership, presented to a graduate who energizes others to do good, exercises positive influence, excels for the benefit of others, and does more than required, was given to Ryleigh McGiveron.
The 2020 Bishop’s Award for Excellence in Religion was awarded to Alison Rae Skrenes. This award is presented to a student who has “above average character, discipline, and academic achievement both in general school subjects and, specifically, in the study of Catholic Theology.”
Graduates included: Addison Baierl, Madeline Bauer, Emilie Becerra, Annika Brown, Carter Casperson, Theodore Conley, Ashley Dean, Holly Dean, Coleton Grambsch, Alexis Haupt, Jessica Jakopin, Jonah Keffer, Olivia Mahoney, McGiveron, Angela McQuillen, Nemitz, Thomas Nystrom, Zachary Olson, Dylan Porter, Briana Post, Lucas Reigel, Gretchen Schiferl, Skrenes, Maria Taylor, Mason Waldhauser, and Rebecca Walter.
