Zschernitz and Kauffman named to NIU 2020 Dean’s List

Northern Illinois University announced its Spring 2020 Dean’s List students. To earn this distinction, students must meet a minimum semester grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology or a minimum of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale in the colleges of Business, Education, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Visual and Performing Arts.

Local students include: Logan Zschernitz, Spencer, Mechanical Engineering – B.S., Spencer High School; and Mason Kauffman, Stratford, Kinesiology, Stratford High School.

 

UW-Green Bay announces spring 2020 semester honors

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has made public the names of undergraduate students receiving semester honors for the spring 2020 semester. Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors go to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages. All were full-time students in the spring term, earning 12 or more credits of graded coursework.

Local students include: Auburndale – Marissa Spatz, Semester Highest Honors. Colby – Marisa Evert, Semester High Honors. Hewitt – Amanda Trudeau, Semester Honors. Loyal – Vanessa Koopman, Semester Highest Honors. Marshfield –  Abby Pritzl, Semester High Honors; Danielle Wolf, Semester High Honors. Neillsville – Emily Brekke, Semester Highest Honors; Madelyn Koprek, Semester Honors; Troy Leffelman, Semester High Honors; Rayle Winegarden, Semester Highest Honors; Malory Zickert, Semester Honors. Spencer – Kallie Reckner, Semester Highest Honors. Stratford – Kaylee Hollatz, Semester Highest Honors.

 

Iowa State University announces spring 2020 Dean’s List

More than 12,500 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2020 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of nine credit hours of graded course work.

Local students, include: Marshfield – Madeline Marie Adams, 2, Pre-Architecture; Sophia E. Schrodi, 3, Animal Science. Spencer – Katelyn Ann Zimmerman, 4, Agricultural and Life Sciences Education.

 

Local students named to Marquette University’s spring 2020 Dean’s List

The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

To make the Dean’s List, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the spring 2020 semester and have no disqualifying graces. The GPA threshold varies by college – for the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7 to be named to the Dean’s List.

The undergraduate GPA requirement is 3.5 for the following colleges: the Diederich College of Communication, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the Opus College of Engineering and the College of Nursing. All other programs have a 3.75 GPA minimum.

Local students include: Marshfield – Melanie Lang, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences; Niav O’Neill, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Neillsville – Joseph Anason, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

 

Sandok named to Gustavus Adolphus College Announces 2020 Spring Semester Dean’s List

The Spring Semester Dean’s List at Gustavus Adolphus College has been released. The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average or higher for the semester ending in May 2020.

Connor Sandok, of Marshfield, was named to the list.

Hilbelink Named to Wheaton Dean’s List for Spring 2020 Semester

Wheaton College student Grace Hilbelink was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2020 semester.

To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
