COLBY – Welcome Dairy in Colby says that several employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

The employees who tested positive are in quarantine and close contacts have been notified and quarantined.

The company says it is following FDA and CDC guidelines and has decided to test each employee for COVID, in collaboration with the Marshfield Health Care System.

“Welcome Dairy’s Management Team has been proactively meeting regularly to stay abreast of the ever changing Covid-19 situation,” a company statement said. “We have taken extra precautions to limit exposure within the plant, including daily employee health screenings, the wearing of masks, enforcing social distancing and continuous sanitizing of common contact surfaces.”
