Bryan P. Johnson, 60, Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 27, 2020.

Bryan was born on November 11, 1959, in Medford to Lyle and Anita (Habermeyer) Johnson. He started out his education in a one-room schoolhouse in Curtiss and later attended Abbotsford Elementary and High School, where he graduated in 1977. Later in life, he received his associate degree in accounting from Mid-State Technical College. He married Rose Sterzinger on August 22, 1980 in Colby, Wisconsin. Bryan was currently employed at Marshfield Medical Center as a lab courier.

He was an avid reader, enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, snowmobiling, and camping. Most recently, he started learning how to play the piano in memory of his mom. Bryan loved spending time with his grandchildren and was always willing to drop anything he was doing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Rose, sons, Jason (Mae) Johnson and Aaron (Heather) Johnson, and grandchildren, Wyatt, Vivianna, and Audrey. He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis (Sherry) Johnson and Larry (Annie) Johnson, and sister, Cheryl (Greg) Sterzinger. He also treasured hisin-laws, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and mother- and father-in-law.

Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Papa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Rev.
