MARSHFIELD – The Auburndale Park Association is cancelling its three-day music festival for this year.

Auburndale Music Fest was set for June 26-28.

Per CDC guidelines provided by Wood County and the limit of 250 people or less, organizers have decided to cancel the event, citing too many challenges to overcome to make it safe for everyone involved.

There will be a softball and volleyball tournament for the weekend, but there will be no bands or other entertainment.

The Auburndale Park Association has scheduled next year’s event for June 25-27, as Auburndale celebrates its 150th anniversary.
