MARSHFIELD – A Marshfield youth has been referred to juvenile authorities after a spray-painting spree in a neighborhood along East 20th Street.

Police say two individuals reported their property had been spray painted sometime on May 19-20. One resident reported paint on her vehicle and in the nearby roadway. A second resident reported a bulldozer, dumpster, and a spec home had been painted as well. Officers then located other properties that had similar damage.

The juvenile was located and referred to Wood County Human Services for charges of criminal damage to property.

The suspect’s name will not be released due to their age.
