MARSHFIELD – Simplicity CU and CoVantage Credit Union have donated a total of $25,000 to the United Ways serving their membership area.

Donations to the Marshfield Area United Way and Portage County United Way will be designated to help in the COVID-19 relief efforts already underway through those organizations.

“We believe strongly in the spirit of giving that our friends at the United Way represent,” said Simplicity CU VP of Marketing Ben Bauer. “We trust them to use this donation to meet the most important needs in our communities, and we’re grateful for the cooperation of our fellow Credit Union believers at CoVantage for helping make this even more impactful.”

Simplicity CU and CoVantage Credit Union both have a long history of community support, providing monetary, event sponsorship, and staff volunteering contributions.
