GRANTON – The Granton community is rallying around its graduating seniors by hosting a parade on May 23.

The parade will start at 2 p.m. Granton Fire Chief Gary Eibergen will lead the parade, with seniors following in their cars or being driven by a friend or family member.

The parade will begin at the Granton community park, travel up to the Granton C-Store, zigzag its way through village streets, travel back past the Granton Community Center, Roger’s Grocery Store, Citizens State Bank, and around the fire department.

The Granton school system has 15 graduates, with 14 planning to participate. Seniors will get ready in the park at 1 p.m. with the community providing food and donations.
