For the City Times

MARSHFIELD – Wausau School Board President Tricia Zunker has confirmed that she will take another run at a seat in Washington this November.

Zunker has announced she will be filing papers to run for a full term in Congress during the November general election.

The announcement comes just one week after falling short in the special election for the Seventh Congressional District House seat won by State Senator Tom Tiffany.

Zunker is the only challenger to announce for the seat so far. Tiffany announced his bid for a full term the day after defeating Zunker.

Party primaries would be held August 11.
