MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Softball Association (MSA) has determined that all leagues will start the week of June 9, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Since July 4 falls on a Saturday, the league also intends to play that week.

Players need to be at least 16 to participate in adult slow pitch leagues.

Men’s League will play on Tuesdays, and will run through Aug. 11, with some doubleheaders to get games in.

Coed teams will play on Thursdays, with a nine-team league playing through July 30, which means an eight-game season with every team playing each other once.

The Women’s League will play on Thursdays with five teams. Those teams would play nine weeks with an eight-game schedule to run through Aug. 6.

The girls’ fast pitch league is tentatively planned to start June 8 and play through July 27.

The annual MIT is August 7-9.

For the time being the Dairyfest tournament for men and coed teams is off. Dairyfest activities have been postponed, and dates have not yet been announced.
