MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) has donated $5,000 to the Hannah Center, through a partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Relief Program.

MMCCU applied for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s COVID-19 Relief Program, which consists of zero-rate advances and grants to support all of its member institutions and the communities they serve as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The funds gifted during this hard time will assist us in our everyday cost of maintaining a home for women and children in crisis,” said Tricia Fancher, Hannah Center program coordinator. “It has been a difficult time all around the world and that has impacted our home, as well as the many women and children we serve. These funds will allow us to continue to preserve life, provide a home, and promote change in each woman we serve.”

Fancher added that the center has a volunteer need at this time.

“If you are looking for ways to get involved in the community and want to serve women and children in crisis, please be in touch with us,” said Fancher. “We have many opportunities from staffing to volunteer needs.”
