Family Matters
On May 11 at 8:15 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that her brother, a 41-year-old Marshfield male, was burning things inside of their 71-year-old mother’s house. The complainant voiced fears that the house would be set on fire. Officers made contact with the brother and the mother and located light bulbs with burnt residue and a small plastic baggie with white powder that tested positive for meth. As a result, the 41-year-old male was arrested.
Suspicious Activity
On May 11 at 12:30 p.m. a Marshfield male reported that there was an unfamiliar vehicle that first parked in front of his South Maple Avenue residence and then parked behind it. Officers located the vehicle, a yellow Mazda, and a K-9 unit alerted officers to the presence of a controlled substance. Methamphetamine and THC were located and a 37-year-old Spencer male was arrested.

Disorderly Conduct
On May 7 at 11:36 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that there were two male individuals outside of her South Maple Avenue residence who were causing a disturbance. The complainant stated that the males had threatened to physically assault her and another female with her. The 22-year-old Marshfield male and 21-year-old Marshfield male were each issued a citation by police.
