For the City Times

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) North Central Region has scheduled the following maintenance activities for the week of May 4. All work and closures are weather dependent and subject to change.

Marathon County

Marathon County Highway Department will move into the second phase of concrete joint repairs on US 51 in Marathon County. The right two lanes of US 51 southbound will be closed between Rib River Bridge and County NN. The ramp from Sherman Street on to US 51 southbound will be closed. Traffic will be routed along County R/Hummingbird Road. During this time, motorists can expect 24/7 lane closures, and a reduced speed limit of 55 mph. Work is anticipated to be completed by May 15.

Wood County

Wood County Highway Department will be conducting routine bridge maintenance at these locations:

WIS 13, bridge over US 10, May 4-7, 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. There will be a single lane closure on northbound WIS 13 and the right shoulder will be closed on westbound US 10.

US 10, bridges over County Highway P, May 4-7, 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. Motorists will encounter a single lane closure on eastbound and westbound US 10.
