MARSHFIED – Marshfield will hold a second round of yard waste pick up May 4-7.

All yard waste to be picked up must be enclosed in “Kraft” brown paper bags or a reusable container. A reusable container is defined as any container constructed of metal or plastic with a capacity not exceeding 30 gallons, a loaded weight of not more than 50 pounds, a tight fitting lid, and handles of adequate strength for lifting. A cardboard box is not considered a reusable container to hold yard waste.

Brush and branch collection takes place May 11-14.

All brush and branches must be bundled and tied in one foot diameter bundles, not to exceed four feet in length or can be placed in a reusable container in lengths not to exceed four feet or six inches in diameter.

All materials should be curbside by 6 a.m., or the night before, and will be picked up separately from your garbage by Advance Disposal.

City of Marshfield residents may also drop off yard waste, brush, and branches 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no charge at the compost site located at 18th Street and Hume Avenue, in Marshfield.
