WOOD COUNTY – Two men are facing charges for cutting off car parts in Wood County.

According to a Facebook post from the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, two men had been cutting catalytic converters off people’s cars and selling them. The alleged thefts occurred in Arpin, and the towns of Remington and Seneca.

The converters are a part of the exhaust system and can be costly to replace. Sheriff’s officials are urging people to check their cars to see if anything was stolen.

No other information has been released.
