MARSHFIELD – A Marshfield drug bust has led to the arrest of a Mosinee man.

On April 19, just before 1 p.m., Marshfield police were called to the parking lot of the Seven Star Motel at 2121 West Veterans Parkway. A 44-year-old Marshfield woman called police to report possible drug activity in the parking lot.

During a search, a 24-year-old Mosinee man resisted police and was taken into custody.

Police discovered a bag filled with a white rock-like substance believed to be methamphetamine. The substance later weighed in at just over 42 grams, and tested positive for meth.

Charges against the man are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s office.
