Lucille D. “Lucy” Skrzeczkoski

Lucille D. “Lucy” Skrzeczkoski, 80, Junction City, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Due to the current gathering restrictions a private family service will be held at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City, with Rev. Dr. Alan Davis officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Junction City.  The funeral will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes at 10:00am (CST) onTuedsay, April 21.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Lucy was born on December 11, 1939 in the Township of Guentherto Felix and Emily (Lassa) Jazdzewski and was a graduate of Mosinee High School.  She was united in marriage to Leonard A. Skrzeczkoski on May 13, 1959 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton. He died on June 14, 2000.

Lucy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and everyone loved her big bear hugs. She loved her family and enjoyed polka music. She assisted her husband in their family business, Skrzeczkoski Construction and they also farmed in the Town of Carson for 37 years.

She is survived by her children, Jerome “Jerry” Skrzeczkoski, CynthiaSkrzeczkoski, Lynn (Michael) Richardson, Jeffrey (Grace) Skrzeczkoski, Dale (Mary) Skrzeczkoski, Ronald (Shirley) Skrzeczkoski, Janet (Randy) Plier, Kristine (Kurt) Wanta and Roy (Amy) Skrzeczkoski. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is further survived by brothers, Ambrose (Judy) Jazdzewski, Donald Jazdzewski, Eugene (Georgiann) Jazdzewski, Leonard (Elaine) Jazdzewski and Norbert (Dolores) Jazdzewski.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a sister, Ann Kolodziej and a brother Walter Jazdzewski.
