MARATHON COUNTY – The Marathon County man accused of fatally stabbing his two step brothers on April 7 has been formally charged with two counts of homicide.
Brandon Noll, 22, made his initial appearance in Marathon County Circuit Court on April 17. He is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of driving a vehicle without consent, and fleeing an officer.
He was arrested following a traffic crash and a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle on April 7, just a few hours after the alleged killings took place. Michael Stone, 23, and his brother, William Stone, 19, died from their stabbing injuries, which they suffered in their Stratford area home the morning of April 7.
Brandon’s older brother Jason called 9-1-1 after he discovered the stabbing victims. He also told police Brandon fled the town of Cleveland home in one victim’s car, which he later crashed in Marshfield. Noll was taken into custody after a police pursuit ended in a second crash in Marshfield involving a stolen vehicle. According to the probable cause statement, Noll allegedly told investigators the stabbings were premeditated.
Noll is due back in court May 6. He remains jailed on a $5 million cash bond.
