MARATHON COUNTY – While the investigation continues on the Marathon County stabbing in the town of Cleveland, county officials are releasing more information on the case.

On April 7, the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Stratford Police Department responded to the report of a stabbing at 121625 County Road P, Stratford. There were four occupants at the residence at the time of the stabbing.

Two biological brothers, both adults, were found stabbed. Michael Stone, 23, was found deceased and William Stone, 19, was transported to a local hospital where he later died from injuries he sustained from the stabbing.

Jason Noll, 24, called 911 after finding Michael and William injured. The suspect, who is Jason’s biological brother, Brandon Noll, 22, remains in custody. The Stone brothers lived at that address with their biological mother. The Noll brothers live at the same address with their biological father.

The investigation is ongoing.
