Columbus girls fall in regional semifinal game

MARSHFIELD – The Columbus girls basketball season has come to an end after falling to Eleva Strum in the regional semifinal away game on Feb. 28.
The Dons were able to keep pace with the Eleva Strum team in the first half and were only down by three at the break.
In the second half, Eleva Strum proved too much for the Dons as they were outscored 32-16 and lost the contest, 59-40.
Annika Brown led the Columbus team on the court with 11 points and Kelsey Moore had nine.
Columbus ends their season at 12-12 overall record.
