Timeless Tales Presents: People Who Make a Difference

MARSHFIELD – On March 7, at 7 p.m., the Friends of the Marshfield Public Library will share stories, poems, and music when they present their annual Timeless Tales on people who make a difference.
The group’s 19th presentation will take place in the Drendel Room of the Second Street Community Center, 211 E. Second St., Marshfield.
The program will feature people who make a difference in science, industry, art, and nature, and those who affect us on a personal, mystical, or global level.
A few of the pieces to be read by community members are authored by or about Albert Einstein (science), Abraham Lincoln (Gettysburg Address), Ellen DeGeneres (parenting), Temple Grandin (autism, animal care), Aldo Leopold (environment), and Ruby Bridges (civil rights).
Dean Markwardt will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Musical ensemble – Joe Finamore, Wayne Jellish, and Christy Anna will round out the evening with rhythm.
