Marshfield gymnasts take conference title

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield gymnastics team participated in the Great Northern Conference tournament at Chequamegon High School on Feb. 22 and took the conference title.
Marshfield senior Gracie Holland once again dominated all the events and took all-around. She swept the first-team all conference team and freshman Ellie Jensen and sophomore Hanna Merkel each earned an all-conference honorable mention.
Marshfield won the conference title as well as the all-season champ title. Marshfield’s team score was 137.3000. In second was SPASH, with 135.3750; Antigo was third, with 127.1250. Ashland was fourth with 124.9000 and Wisconsin Rapids placed fifth with 124.2250.
