Marshfield hockey’s season comes to an end

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield boys hockey hosted Waupaca on Feb. 20 in a Division 2 regional game where the Tigers ended their season.

Marshfield fell behind after Waupaca scored in the first period. The second period saw the Comets scoring two more times, to take a 3-0 lead into the third period.

Marshfield scored first in the third period on a power play goal from Evan Weister, with assists from Sawyer Schindler and Nick Urban. Waupaca scored two more for a 5-1 win over the Tigers.

Marshfield’s AJ Trierweiler had 45 saves on the night.
