Pittsville steals win from Westfield

MARSHFIELD – Pittsville boys basketball got a last second win in their game against Westfield on Feb. 18 when Matthew Kissner made a basket as time ran out.
The nonconference game, held at Pittsville High School, was a back and forth battle between the two teams and Westfield was ahead 27-25 at the half. The second half proved to be the same as the game was tied with nine seconds left leading to Kissner’s winning shot.
The Pittsville team was lead by Kissner, who scored 23 points, and freshman, Marcus Getsinger added 12.
The Panthers will host Rosholt on Feb. 21 for a Central Wisconsin South Conference game at 7:30 p.m.
