Victim Identified in Auburndale crash

AUBURNDALE – A man who was killed in a Feb. 15 crash in the village of Auburndale has been identified.
The accident occurred at 7:08 a.m., when a van heading westbound on USH 10 collided with a pickup heading northbound on County Road P.
The driver of the van, Mark A. Smith, 57, of Auburndale, was pronounced deceased on scene and the driver of the pickup, Tyler W. Richardson, 16, of Milladore, was transported to Marshfield Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Auburndale Fire Department, Auburndale First Responders, Wood County Coroner’s Department, Wood County Highway Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
