SPENCER – Since Jan. 28, the Spencer girls have not been able to gain their footing, taking losses first in Owen-Withee on Jan. 28, 54-44, and then Gilman, 67-41.

On Feb. 4, they traveled to Greenwood. Spencer won the first game this season against Greenwood, but fell short during this matchup and lost, 52-36.

The last two games they played were against the top two teams in the Cloverbelt conference. They lost to No. 2, Loyal, on Feb. 6, 62-43, and then fell to the top-ranked Neillsville on Feb. 11, 66-16.

Spencer’s Heavyn Kind leads the Rockets in scoring, averaging 14 points per game in conference action. Ariyah Schuh follows with a 7.7 ppg average.

Spencer’s record in the conference is 3-12, 6-13 overall.

Spencer will face Colby on Feb. 14 at Colby High School. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
